From the Historical Vineyards of Coombsville to the Midwest
Historically rich with gardens, fruit trees, and family, the collaboration that is Favia Wines is founded on the stones of a home and cellar established by some of Napa Valley’s first Italian immigrants. With a reverence for nature, Andy Erickson and his wife Annie Favia cultivate the finest wines with the utmost sense of humility and excellence.
Vintegrity is delighted to add Favia Wines to our exclusive collection of the finest wines and spirits from around the country – and around the world. Available in both Kansas and Missouri, Favia Wines are a valued addition to any wine list.
It’s thrilling to see the Antonio Carbone Wine Cellar and Italian Gardens become a family home and winery once again under the creativity and commitment to culture of Andy and Annie. Learn more about the rich history of their Coombsville vineyard here!
According to winemaker Andy Erickson, a summer in France during his university years and many following visits to European vineyards have fueled his passion for the concept of terroir – a respect for the natural environment of a specific wine and its soil, topography and climate. This regard for the land and its history carries over into an enthusiasm for the unique effect of environment upon the wine’s own characteristic taste and flavor.
“The wines are incredible, and we’ve represented a few wines of Andy’s before, so it’s great to represent some of the wines under his own brand,” explained Vintegrity’s Certified Sommelier Aaron Fry.
Andy and Annie have had the honor and privilege of growing and learning under esteemed winemakers and enthusiasts such as John Kongsgaard, Cathy Corison, and David Abreu and through immersive experience in the renowned vineyards of Screaming Eagle, Ovid, and Dalla Valle. With a love for biodynamic principles, Andy and Annie have devoted their lives to cultivating fruit trees, olive groves, honey, walnut orchards, vegetables, and of course – fine wine.
With this respect for the craft of winemaking, Vintegrity is honored to partner with Favia in a celebration of representing such a fine, artisanal wine.
Join the celebration and add these one-of-a-kind wines to your cellar – or reserve list! With numerous favorable mentions in esteemed publications such as The New York Times, Wine Spectator, Food & Wine, and many other respected journals, you’re sure to be in good company.
