Legend Vineyards Exclusive, LVE for short, began back in 2015 when Grammy and Oscar-winning John Legend decided to follow his dream and create his own wine collection. Finding the perfect partner was essential, and after some searching Legend teamed up with wine world giant Jean-Charles Boisset and expert winemaker Stephanie Putnam.
Boisset is the proprietor of numerous vineyards and wineries around the world, including Napa Valley staple – Raymond Vineyards. For 40 years, they have been known for their incredibly luxurious location and their award-winning wines, each beautifully balanced with finesse and power in every sip. Raymond Vineyards is also a leader in Napa Valley for their sustainable winegrowing practices.
Having a strong collaborative team was important to Legend, something he had learned through his music career. His goal for his collection was to create wines that represented his deep connection to Napa Valley with passion, tradition, and eloquence. But ultimately, he wanted these wines to be enjoyable and perfect for creating memorable moments.

LVE French Rosé 2020
Appellation: Languedoc Rousillon Varietal: 45% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 20% Cinsault
This beautiful, pale pink still Rosé is crafted from grapes sourced from esteemed vineyards across the South of France with one of three different soil types – sandstone, limestone, and clay. After the careful selection process is finished, the grapes from each vineyard are vinified separately and progressively pressed. This is where the delicate color comes from. The wine is then fermented at a low temperature to retain freshness. Aging takes place on fine lees in stainless steel tanks with occasional stirring.
The aromas and flavors of this wine are bursting with bright fruitiness, making it the perfect choice for enjoying on warm sunny days. The nose is filled with notes of peach blossom, raspberry, and apricot. Fresh picked strawberries and elegant white nectarine fill the palate and the lengthy finish keeps you coming back for more.
LVE French Sparkling Rosé
Appellation: France Varietal: 10% Pinot Noir, 10% Grenache, 80% White Varietal
For those who prefer their Rosé bubbly, then try the LVE French Sparkling Rosé. The blend is made from a selection of grapes frow renowned vineyards across France. The wine is processed in the Charmat method and then aged for three months in stainless steel tanks, giving it delicate, pinpoint bubbles.
The bold, fruit-forward flavor of this peachy pink wine is equally matched with its acidity and freshness. Intense aromas of grapefruit, orange, and lemon and beautifully balanced with aromas of small red fruits like cherry, raspberry, and strawberry. The flavors are full and indulgent, reminiscent of red currants and pomelos, with a dry, tart finish.
