Vintegrity recently had the opportunity to host a private dinner event at Farina, the Modern Italian Restaurant & Oyster Bar. Farina is the latest concept from James Beard Award-winning Chef Michael Smith. Located in the heart of the Crossroads district, it was the perfect setting for the indulgent affair. Nancy & Michael Smith hosted guest chefs Wally Joe from Acre Restaurant in Memphis, TN and Michael Kramer from Jianna in Greenville, SC.

“We imagined what it would look like to have an evening of all of our favorite foods & wines and voilà, the Vintegrity-Farina Holiday Wish List Dinner was born,” said JP Gilmore, founder of Vintegrity Wine and Spirits.

Guests were served hors d’oeuvres while a guitarist performed, and later enjoyed seven courses paired perfectly with wines provided by Vintegrity. Courses included caviar and a head-turning risotto, served out of large cheese wheels. Truffles, both black and white, were the star of the night and were featured on almost every dish. Seared bass, lamb shank, and roasted veal were served to guests while Vintegrity’s Aaron Fry led guests through an amazing list of fine French and Italian wines that perfectly complimented the evening’s extraordinary bites.

“It was an unforgettable night. That’s what we meant for it to be. ” said JP Gilmore.
