Turley Wine Now Available in Missouri
Vintegrity Wine & Spirits recently announced they are now the exclusive distributor for Turley Wine Cellars throughout the state of Missouri. Vintegrity Founder and Partner J.P. Gilmore and Vintegrity Partner Sean Ball announced the agreement, noting, “We are proud to be Turley Wine Cellar’s first choice to represent such an iconic brand in the state of Missouri.”
According to James Laube of Wine Spectator, “For the past 20 years, the strongest hand at the Zinfandel wheel has been Larry Turley’s.” Laube continued, “Turley’s Zins appear on America’s best restaurant wine lists, and the waiting time for a spot on his direct mail list rivals that of many cult Cabernet Sauvignon producers.”
Turley makes 47 individual wines from over 50 different vineyards, some with vines that date back to the late 1800’s. Often weathered, gnarled and frail, these old-growth vines require extra care and attention. Larry Turley, once an emergency room surgeon, now focuses his considerable resuscitative skills on the fragile, yet extraordinary, old vineyards that yield the wines he loves.
Formerly available to Missouri wine connoisseurs only by mail order (and then, only to those lucky enough to obtain one of the few spots available on Turley’s direct mail list), Turley Wines had previously been effectively unavailable in Missouri.
Christina Turley decided Vintegrity was the best distributor for Turley due to their ability to place Turley Wines on the finest wine lists in the state.
Turley Wine Cellars is well known in the industry for the quality of their product. In fact, every release for the 2017 vintage scored an impressive 90 points or above on the respected Wine Advocate scale. Said Vintegrity founder J.P.
