For Women’s History Month Vintegrity is hosting several wine events showcasing some of the wine world’s most impressive women!

From pioneering women-owned wineries to trailblazers in operations, sales, and more, these women have made a lasting impression on the industry. Throughout March wine enthusiasts will have the opportunity to meet these women at events around Kansas City and hear their stories.

Pride Mountain Vineyards – Yohannah Burmeister

Pride Mountain’s vineyards stretch across 85 acres of the Mayacamas Mountains in Napa Valley, enjoying warm mornings above the fog layer and cool afternoons. The result – bold, structured wines that carry strong varietal flavors and distinct individuality.

Yohanna Burmeister is Pride Mountain’s Director of National Sales. She built her expertise in wine over the past 15 years, working with both Californian wineries and European importers and wholesalers. She holds an Advanced Certificate from the Court of Master Sommeliers and passed the Diploma with Merit from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET).

Château Coupe Roses – Sarah Frissant

Thursday, March 20 at AO&Co. Market and Cafe | 1641 Tower Grove Ave, St. Louis, MO

From 4:00-6:00 PM, Sarah Frissant from Coupe Roses Winery will be holding a meet and greet at AO&Co. Market and Cafe! She will be signing bottles and suggesting wine pairings and Coupe Roses wine will be available to sample and purchase.

Château Coupe Roses is a renowned Languedoc wine producer led by Françoise Le Calvez and husband, Pascal Frissant. The winery’s vineyards sit high on a plateau where the region’s unique Mediterranean microclimate lets grapes develop high-toned, dense fruit flavors and striking acidity.

Françoise and Pascal were joined in the business by son, Mathias, who works as cellar master, and daughter, Sarah, who leads sales.

Michael and Anne Dashe

Dashe Cellars – Anne Dashe

Michael Dashe and wife Anne founded Dashe Cellars in 1996. The duo are dedicated to crafting exceptional single-vineyard wines through traditional, non-industrial methods. By prioritizing minimal intervention, Dashe wines showcase the purest expression of the world-class vineyards and growers they work with.

Anne Dashe’s interest in wine began at a young age. She received her National Diploma of Enology from the University of Bordeaux before moving to Napa Valley. She worked at Chappellet Winery and as a research enologist at RMS Brandy Distillery before marrying Michael and founding Dashe Cellars.

Christina Turley

Turley Wine Cellars – Christina Turley

Former emergency room physician Larry Turley founded Turley Wine Cellars in 1993. Today, the winery produces a huge variety of wines with fruit from over 50 California vineyards. Turley is passionate about old vine vineyards, many of which demand meticulous care and dedication to restore to their full potential.

Christina Turley is the oldest of Larry Turley’s daughters and is the Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing for Turley Wine Cellars. She is a Certified Sommelier and passed the WSET Advanced Program with Honors. Since joining the family business full-time in 2010, Christina has been named both Forbes’ “30 Under 30” and Wine Enthusiast’s “40 Under 40.”

Sara Floyd

Luli Wines – Sara Floyd MS

Luli Wines is a partnership between the Pisoni Family and Master Sommelier Sara Floyd. The winery exclusively focuses on producing accessibly priced wine from the Santa Lucia Highlands. Luli takes a gentle and intentional approach to winemaking that allow the natural characteristics of the grapes to truly shine. The winery’s thoughtful process results in wines that are refined yet expressive.

Sara Floyd has extensive experience in the wine world includes working with some of the country’s top fine-dining establishments, national sales, and marketing. In 2001, she launched Swirl Wine Brokers and in 2007, she launched Luli Wines. She is also the tenth woman in the world to earn the title of Master Sommelier.
