New York Times Wirecutter has released its list of the Best Blanco Tequilas of 2024. The list was compiled by James Beard Award-winning book author, journalist, and photographer Emma Janzen after carefully assessing and testing 24 different brands.
All of the Blancos on this list are crafted with 100% agave and utilize at least one pre-industrial production technique. These prerequisites were useful in creating an even playing field for the tequilas tasted. Furthermore, Janzen chose to only taste Blanco tequilas, so any flavors developed during the aging process would not interfere.
