Ranked #75
93 Points

El Molino is one of the oldest Napa Valley wineries, with production beginning all the way back in 1871, just two decades after the end of the California gold rush. The 2019 Chardonnay is cool with a very structured palate. Despite its broad-shouldered first impression, the wine showcases delicate notes of flowers, green apples, lemon cake, and white peaches. Flavors of lemon oil, verbena, pineapple, and brioche are amplified nicely by the luscious texture and memorable finish of jasmine, spice, and sea salt finish.
