The Vintegrity team was thrilled to host Dave Phinney for an exclusive wine-tasting event for Vintegrity customers this past month at Rye on the Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dave Phinney, a celebrated winemaker and distiller from California, has been crafting exceptional wines since 1997. As a founder of several iconic brands such as Prisoner Winery and Orin Swift, Phinney continues to push the boundaries of winemaking. He joined Vintegrity to host this exclusive event, showcasing his newest line of wines, Our Lady of Guadalupe.
In addition to tasting the new Our Lady of Guadalupe Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, guests also got to hear the story behind it from Phinney himself and enjoy cocktails crafted with Savage + Cooke Bourbons – another creation of Phinney’s.
Phinney and Vintegrity founder, JP Gilmore, also sat down for an in-depth tasting of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The two, who have worked together for the past 16 years, take a look at some of Phinney’s past projects and discuss not only the challenges behind starting a new vineyard but also Phinney’s inspiration behind it.
